Once those zoomies kick in, watch him go! He's also starting to show signs of being an excellent fetch professional! A little bit shy, call it caution; he does like to investigate things, whether it's the resident indoor/outdoor cat, smells of delightful food, leaves, bugs, etc. Tortuga has learned, or maybe taught foster mom, that the way to get treats and dinner is to sit and wait quietly. His brother does not agree, so after attempts to calm him, Tortuga might join in. Kennel time is peaceful, hops right in most of the time and waits for a treat. Also is calm before time to open the gate.... Tortuga is a sweet boy with a playful, feisty side! After a good workout, he likes to seek out foster mom's lap and just chill (however, his brother likes to interrupt). But we are working on these little things. Potty time outside is a work in progress, but he has mastered the indoor potty area! Tortuga is the whole package, oh, and super photogenic! *AHCR cannot guarantee any breed/possible breed of the dogs in our care or the size they will be full grown. All of our animals are fixed, microchipped, started on age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and on a flea/tick and heart worm preventative prior to adoption. Please note that all of our animals are in foster homes, and you must have an approved application to meet any of them unless at a scheduled meet and greet event.
