Until he met "Grandpa" Bjorn, the resident dog, who is teaching him his wise ways. They still have very different views on how wild the backyard should be, but both agree cuddling with humans is always needed! Sequoia loves to play fetch! His favorite is his pillow, which needs to be flattened, fluffed, and then carried/drug to his chair for further terrorizing! Just say "Pillow Fight" during zoomies time, and it's Game On! Sit and Wait used to be just words, but now Sequoia knows we Sits and Waits without being told before he eats, before treats, before the door opens, etc. Kennel door is still a work in progress, but honestly... when you gotta go.. you gotta go!! And he does let you know! Leash walking is going well; this boy wants to go fast tho.. and also stop on a dime.. He does get slightly spooked by dogs barking and loud noises near him, but every day he gets better. Car rides are awesome with him. He likes the window down so his big ears can flop in the wind. Sequoia would like to play with the 2 kitties at home, but they would rather not play with him. Just co-exist, and he does not push back on this too much. He has met quite a few elderly neighbors and loved up on them nicely. He has not been exposed to kids but will be shortly. Stay tuned for that update!
