I was rescued by my current foster family in July and found out I was expecting a litter of puppies! Mothering is hard work, and I am ready to be a young dog again! I don't have any favorite toys or games as I seem to have forgotten how to play. I do love going for walks and getting all the belly rubs! My foster mom reports that I am the best dog on walks! My foster family reports that I am the quietest dog they have ever met as I have only barked twice the entire time I have been with them! I hate water and getting wet—which includes baths, rain, deodorizing wipes, and bottles that spray. If it's raining outside, you can forget about it! I love to give out lots of wet, doggy kisses! I will come to you for love and affection, but I also enjoy my independent space. My teeth are worn down due to use, and I require soft food or kibble mixed with broth. I am quite particular about the treats I like, which may be why my name means princess. My favorite treats are mini Milkbones, Pupperoni, hot dogs, and deli meats. I do great with the foster children and cats in the home! I am a little slow to warm up to other dogs, so I would prefer a slow introduction. I would ask that the resident dog(s) be respectful of my personal space when I need it. This holiday season, can I join your family furever? With this sweet face, how can you say no? *AHCR cannot guarantee any breed/possible breed of the dogs in our care or the size they will be full grown.
