About me:
My name is Harlow, and I’m extremely sweet, a very good girl, and very lovable. That’s what my foster mom tells me anyway! I am doing well with my potty training as long as I’m taken out frequently. I’m holding it longer now and know what I’m supposed to do when I go outside. I’m a superstar as far as crate training goes. I sleep all night long, keep my kennel clean, and have never had an accident in there. I’m kenneled during the day for naps and if my people are gone and do great, too. I never make a peep in there. I’m good at giving kisses and snuggles and love belly rubs. I’m just a pretty happy girl, so my tail is always moving. I was very skinny when I was rescued, so food is very important to me and very motivating. I’m super excited at mealtime, so I can be a little vocal if I don’t think my foster mom is getting it ready fast enough.
I can sit like a big girl, am pretty good about coming when called, know what to do when I hear kennel, and am starting to work on leave it. I live with a big dog who likes to play with me and a little dog who doesn’t. There is a cat that I am very curious about, but I don’t think he likes me very much because he is always batting his paws at me. I am a little cautious around new dog friends, but once I feel safe I’m ready to be friends. I haven’t been around kids very much, but I’m pretty sure I will like them if they are gentle and kind with me. I’m not much of a jumper, but I may forget my manners and try to chew on them until I get a little older. The good news is that my toys and antlers are fun to chew on, too, and they can keep me busy and entertained. I’m also good at being alone if my people are busy doing people things. I’m excited about having a home and family of my own who will love me and be patient with me while I grow and continue to learn all the things puppies like me need to know. Until you come to meet me I’ll just keep hanging out with my foster family and let them love on me for a little while longer.
