Ginger

Dog Name: Ginger Approximate Age: 10 weeks as of 10/12 Gender: Female Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Unknown Child friendly: Yes, puppy; working on being gentle House trained: No, working on it Crate trained: Yes Fence needed : Would recommend. Energy level: Med/High - puppy; calms down at bedtime Temperament: Friendly, has loved everyone she's met Foster location: Sioux Falls, SD Adoption Fee: $450 About me: I love to sneak out of gates if I find an opening. Can sit, but is working on understanding the command. Does get vocal when she needs to be let out. Loves to play with other dogs and give plenty of kisses. Doesn't understand she's a bit bigger than our 16th month old when he's crawling. But do believe she's good with children, as our son does giggle occasionally when they're playing together. Understands when it's kennel time and normally doesn't typically need treats to go in, but does help! Also, she's not sure what to think of treats yet, but maybe her new family can help her find her favorite kind! Doesn't mind car rides so far. Likes to sit on laps instead of by themselves. Doesn't bark much unless she needs to go out or whines because she wants attention. But when we let her out in our front yard, she doesn't bark at people walking by or the many cars she sees. Ginger likes to play with her brother and the resident dogs! *AHCR cannot guarantee any breed/possible breed of the dogs in our care or the size they will be full grown.
