This sweet pup loves to run, play, explore, and wrestle with his sister. She may be the ring leader when it comes to mischief, but Emerald is always ready to join in on the fun! Emerald also loves playing with his new big-dog foster friend, who has been wonderfully patient with his enthusiastic, “in-your-face puppy” ways. He’s curious about the resident cat but has shown no interest in chasing. He absolutely loves toys and tasty, long-lasting chews that keep his busy puppy brain occupied. For such a young pup, Emerald is doing wonderfully with his routine. He sleeps through the night in his crate and keeps it clean. During the day, he has successfully been crated for 4–5 hours while keeping his space clean. He has also been quick to pick up on his new routine since leaving his mom and moving into his foster home. Emerald is a smart little guy who is already learning important skills like coming when his name is called, following “this way” while walking in the yard, “no,” and “leave it.” Of course, he’s still a puppy, so there is plenty more to learn—but he’s off to a fantastic start! When he’s not busy being a playful puppy, Emerald is all about the affection. He loves belly rubs, giving kisses, snuggling, spending time with his people, and even playing in water. His foster mom says he is a sweetheart and such a good boy! Emerald is looking for a loving family who understands that puppies need patience, guidance, consistency, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. In return, he promises to bring lots of laughs, puppy adventures, kisses, snuggles, and unconditional love. His foster mom hopes Emerald finds a home where he will always be safe, deeply loved, surrounded by kindness, and given endless belly rubs.
