AltaMae is a sweet girl with lots of energy, kisses to give, and an eagerness to learn! She would do best with a more experienced owner and a sturdy kennel. AltaMae loves to play tug of war and would be happy to have a tug of war partner! She loves to be outside, even if there's nothing to do; she's a happy lady lying in the shade or patrolling for critters. AltaMae does well with children, cats, and other dogs- all with proper intros! While she is understanding basic obedience training, she is also working with Nerdy K9 for trick classes. When she isn't busy playing or giving you kisses, Alta will lie down on her dog bed or snuggle up with you and snore as if she works a 9-5 to help pay the bills! *AHCR cannot guarantee any breed/possible breed of the dogs in our care or the size they will be full grown. All of our animals are fixed, microchipped, started on age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and on a flea/tick and heart worm preventative prior to adoption. Please note that all of our animals are in foster homes, and you must have an approved application to meet any of them unless at a scheduled meet and greet event.
